Make sure to take thorough notes, not only what he writes on the board but also the things he talks about during class. Expect to use a lot of loose-leaf. Do your homework. He might not always address it in class, but it will always be written on the top right of the board if it exists. Finish every assignment. Study well before tests. His short-answer questions will require detailed information, so it's best not to assume you know everything. Do not talk in class.

Mr. Jonathon Brus is a great teacher. He teaches like a Harvard Professor and every second is memorable. No need to memorize unless you're a bot because he teaches you how to think for your self. @person who wrote review before = i strongly disagree but unfortunately, you are entitled to your own opinion. p. 1 was the best. Remember to default dance on the JB haters out there.

if you want to succeed in his class, it is very difficult. he does not go through the material well but it is not impossible to do well, you just have to memorise every word he says (assuming you copy it all down). good luck, he is funny though

he was pretty cool, although his class was a bit too boring and would feel stretched out. him being cool felt forced at times but mostly not really. wish it was a bit more fun but i had an interesting time, i like how little homework he gives
