Just be a good student, and don't do anything too edgy, He is nice and you can have conversations with him about things other than school. He also allows you to retake a quiz once per marking period if you do bad. He doesn't give unreasonable expectations, however be prepared to get confused if you don't pay 100% attention when he is teaching the new math, or else you will be lost until the day before the test.
