Do assignments asap. Sometimes she won't say a specific due date in class, so you might assume it's not due for a while only to find out it was due the next day. For basically any lab it's good to assume the due date is the next class period. I recommend getting help outside of class, whether it's asking her for help, a tutor, or a tutoring site. Take good notes. And I mean really take good notes. Even if you don't review them before tests, just writing down what she says will help. And another thing: lower your standards. I don't mean settle for a D, but be aware that the class is extremely tough. If you're used to A' s, you might not get them, so just know you're going to have to try a bit harder to get a really good grade. One last thing: the class has a high drop out rate. 1/5th of my class dipped before October.
