Mr. Richman will tell you all there is to know about the class. He writes textbook practice problems to study, hands out study guides, and he's pretty much always there afterschool so go to his office hours. The study guide is very similar to the quizzes, so if you got that down, then you're pretty much set. Besides all that, just enjoy the class. Enjoy his humor, the crossword puzzles, (if he still gives those out) the outdated songs he plays on his mp3 player, his corny math jokes. I honestly wished high school didn't fly by so fast if it meant I could take his class over again.

I had Mr. Richman my freshmen year for Algebra 1, but he was such a good teacher that I TA for him my junior and senior year. He is hands down the best teacher out of the many I had over the course of four years. He 's articulate about the classwork and homework. There is no way you'll miss it because he literally writes it on the board EVERY single day. He's understanding. He knows high school can be hard and he'll allow makeup or you can meet with him one on one afterschool. He's funny. When I was a student, he would make the class interesting by giving out his own money. He called it Richman bucks. If you get enough, he'll give you real gift cards and gifts from Amazon. He'd also play a different song every day at the end of class on his mp3 player. If we were lucky, he'd dance for us and crack the whole class up. Mr. Richman was one of the only teachers how actually made math enjoyable. If you ever see this, it's your favorite student Lilian Agu (Class of 2021) leaving a good review :)
