There's a lot of material to learn, but as long as you study and work hard you can do well. Also, remember to always follow the directions exactly. If you do something a little differently it is marked wrong.

Mrs. Biss is a wonderful teacher, all you really need to do is pay attention in her class and do the work. She helps you when you need it and overall gives great advice on how to better your writing, She's an easy-going and fun teacher. Overall, you'll do great if you get her.

All you gotta do is make sure that you practice the concepts, and do all the notes. What's on the homework is usually harder than the test. Just make sure you know what you're doing and understand all the concepts.

You are expected to memorize a lot of stuff. Mr. Carlin goes over topics briefly and expects you to know it before the tests. Always just be a conscientious students to earn easy academic preparedness points, includes not playing games and at least pretending to look interested. He does Socrates seminars and even if you participate once or no times, you get at least an A- because he's a cool teacher. All test material is reviewed in class but you do have to do your own studying if you really need to pass. However, 100 academic preparedness points each year can give you an A- or an A in the class even if you fail his tests.

Mrs, Ciccarino's class is near impossible. She is strict and hard to please. If your work isn't on par with her expectations, you'll get points off. She is also very biased, If she doesn't like you, you'll have an extremely hard time. Overall, she is a really hard teacher, don't ever show up late or you'll get detention, pay attention, don't talk, and do your work.

All of the lessons that are taught in this class are online on Google or on the OpenSciEd website. Also, you mostly are given open-note assessments and applying scenario A, B, and C to different scenario D. (Example: you learn about cows, strawberries, and dogs in the genetics unit and have to apply your knowledge of chromosomes and reproduction to different organisms) and keep your binder organized or she does surprise binder checks worth 5 points so be careful of that

She is, very often, available for help during enrichment and after school. Almost every single math topic is reviewed in class and she sometimes gives extra days for students to take advantage of and ask for help. If you are struggling in her class, she will always repeat that it is encouraged to advocate for your own help because she and lots of other teachers will not chase you down if you are constantly receiving poor test scores. Homework is 1 point for each assignment, so dont stress too much if you ever forget. However, HW is easy give-me points that allowed me to pull my grade up from Bs and some Cs on my quizzes. Just beware that throughout the year, the assessments will become slightly harder for both IAG and A1.

Keep up with all your homework and practice skills you dont understand. Make sure you see her for help if youre struggling with a topic. The class moves very quickly and come to class prepared with your binder neat and organized.

The class is not extremely rigorous, but if you need help or assistance then she is often available during the school day, or before/after school. With every class, make sure you do your homework because those are easy points. She gives you lots of extra time before tests, so definitely all test material is reviewed and she posts extra optional practice pages.
