If you want to do well on the exams, do the homework. The homework can be tedious and he will never check it, but it will without a doubt be on the test in some way. Always requiz if you can if he offers it. Labs will be tough but he'll always explain things clearly after they are done.
You cannot succeed if you take this class, some of the smartest people I know tend to struggle. You learn basic information and none of that is on test quizzes or assignments. For some reason anytime you actually have to do work it is something you have never even heard of or learned before.
