This Math class is a direct reflection on Mrs. Michelle McGeehan's teaching style. The overall majority of exams come from the text publisher's website. The publisher's tests contain problems rated with a high level of difficulty and complexity. Mrs. McGeehan's class lessons were never on par with the level of difficulty and complexity required to pass the publisher's tests. As a result, most of my classmates were ill prepared to take the examinations. During her class, when I posed questions she rarely provided me or my classmates with satisfactory answers on how to resolve the math problems. In this class, we were given tremendous amounts of homework that she rarely, if ever, worked the solutions in class. Only the most basic problems were solved in class, and there was no way that a student would have the knowledge to resolve the problems on the publisher's exams. I earned high marks in the class in spite of not receiving adequate instruction. It took a lot of effort to teach myself the concepts. Even high achieving students in the same class were not able to do well.
