if you do not have a grade in the class just assume you are doing poorly because you probably are. do not get overconfident and think you have an A, you do not have an A. have many questions prepared, we don’t talk about traditional poetry things like iambic pentameter. get comfortable being confused. always reference what others in the class are doing for writing assignments as instructions are unclear and it is easy to miss what was meant entirely.
Just do the reading and participate in the discussions. Ms. Dionne is super nice and helpful with everything.
