It's best not to be too talkative in this class unless it's during a time when talking is allowed. Mrs. Beavers either wants your attention or could care less about it. When she's speaking, it's expected that you stop what you're doing and listen, no matter what. If you're a tactile learner, then you'll like this class a lot, especially the Blocking unit for stage plays. This class is very project-based, and there aren't homework assignments beyond "remember this thing for tomorrow". It's a good class to have friends in, and if you're not very confident, you're sure to get pulled out of your shell with the sheer theatrical power Mrs. Beavers possesses as a human being.

This class can either be fun or absolutely horrible. If you like history, you'll do well there. If you don't, then your grades likely won't be the best. A lot of this class is just remembering what the subject is about and then going over the information over and over (usually with minor quizzes, readings, and kahoots) until it's seared into your brain. Luckily for you, each topic has its own quiz and then you can forget about it. There's a lot of note-taking and "shut up and listen" going on, but if you put in a bit of effort, you'll get by fine.

This class was pretty average. There were some group discussions, we read a book, there was a project tossed in here and there- it's just a normal English class. We did have a thing called "Motivational Monday" that no one liked, but it was only on Monday's, so it wasn't that bad. There was rarely homework and it was an easy A.

This class (I took pre-algebra, but according to my algebra friends the classes were relatively the same) was pretty great considering I don't like math. The classroom itself is small so a lot of kids were packed into one space. In doing this, discussion traveled across the room and the air was open and comfortable. People were indeed held accountable for their homework, but there were small mercies every now and then. Tests were hard but even if you weren't ridiculously familiar with the subject, Mr. Huntley gave you a second chance by marking which ones were wrong so you could know where to improve, and then turn it in afterwards.

Her classroom (it may not be the same now, but this is how it was when I was there)has a wonderful atmosphere. She had string lights set up, the actual lights were low/off, there were posters and decorative things hanging around the room- very comfortable. An open discussion was encouraged among students, and I almost always had zero homework for her classroom. Her quizzes were open-note and always relatively easy. She had a grading system that was different from the other teachers, but was easy to understand. When labs were done, it was always well-organized and able to be completed within one class hour if done correctly. The curriculum was fast-paced and fun.

In this class, with it being art, there are no quizzes and no homework. The majority of projects are done during the class period and if someone doesn't get it in during the alloted time, that's on them. Mrs. MG is very considerate with extending submitting periods, though, so it's not something to worry about.
