Make sure that you know the material, it is a super discussion based class and requires you to understand basic principles and able to apply them to current events. Many of this is a result of having knowledge of current events and basic knowledge of the American government system, so it is easy to get discussion points, most of the class is based on this so to do well on tests and on the ap test you need to commit yourself to learning the specific details at home. There is not a ton of guidance on which details to know and which you do not need to know. The class is a very fun environment if you like American politics and discussing politics, it relies on your enjoyment and following of current events rather than just preparing for the test. Mr. Bergquist enjoys a teachable moment, you will have more of these rather than following a really strict syllabus.

animal care was not my fav class, but it was an easy a as long as you memorize what's on the quizzes and do the study guides

Make sure you listen and take notes on her lectures because all of this will show up on the test. She gives review guides, do them, the packet of practice questions are not always necessary but she does sometimes pull questions from there (also quizlet). But if you want to do well on the final ap exam you should try and just learn the material in the first place because she makes it very easy. Do the test corrections because they will boost your grade. Also she gives you an extra 2% I think on your final grade IF you have no late assignments. Overall do the work she assigns and you will be fine.

don't focus too much on memorizing vocab, as long as you get the conjugations and grammar right and just try your best you'll get by just fine w an a-b

as a junior, ap psychology is my favorite class ive taken throughout all of high school. the idea of an ap class may be dreading, but if you're interested in why humans act how they do at all, i would highly highly suggest it. since it is an ap course, the work for it is a lot, but if you're interested in the subject, it doesn't feel like work at all. i find myself actually looking forward to taking notes because i find the subject so interesting. as well as in class, i dread test days not just because of the tests but because we won't have the lecture-style class that coury puts on. even when we are just taking notes, coury is a super entertaining teacher and makes the material even more fun to learn. for the tests- make sure to just study a quizlet a couple of times for the terms test and you'll be good to go. for the multiple choice, do the college board progress check first, and then after learning what you got wrong, study those parts extra for the multiple choice test.
