- KNOW YOUR VOCAB If you want to get a good grade and (for freshmen) be succesfull in Yelland’s civilization, you need to know your vocab. Don’t throw away your packet mid semester like i accidentaly did. - Dont lean on AI Mr. Yelland loves AI, he uses it in some assignments and for almost all his images, do not lean on it. The AI tools are frustrating to work with and often break and are wrong a lot of the time. - Talk to him. Mr. yelland is nice, participates in school activities and goes to school theater productions, he’s very active in the school and you can even see him after school with his kids. He’s good to talk to, will answer questions, and really wants you to succeed, especially before the PSAT. Just make sure you catch him on a good day. If it feels off then you’re on your own. “
