AP World: Do your work as soon as possible and review often. I would recommend a combination of reading, either the given textbook or a textbook bought from somewhere else, as well as watching videos online. Heimler's History is an amazing YouTube channel, though crash course is also good. Heimler's History gives you the information that you actually need to pass the AP class. If you can, get his review packet at the beginning of the year.

AP World: While I understand this class is supposed to be difficult, self taught, and mostly based on homework, the teacher almost never actually teaches us information about the actual historical context of things we are reading about. He is fine at teaching us how to write, but I feel like he's not in touch with us as he should be. In all, he's a fine supervisor, but I hesitate to call him a teacher. If anything, YouTube and the textbook are the real teachers.
