Nine times out of ten he will tell you the stuff beforehand (for tests, projects, etc) so make sure to listen! I've only had him for history and it's pretty easy to understand the concepts he gives us. Just make sure you listen and if you don't understand anything, take notes during class.

His teaching style is really easy to get! He uses words that our generation use on a day to day basis to make the concepts more clear and helps us understand easier. It'd be hard to just walk up to a class and start talking all the technical stuff he actually learned it college and expect the 9th graders to understand. He does a great job with explaining and condensing events into only the important stuff. He interacts with the class often and overall it's a fun class even if it's history :)
