Make sure you read all the books that are required so that you will do well on the reading quizzes and assignments.
The quizzes are pretty easy, but the tests are hard (particularly the chapter 1 test). Make sure you understand your homework, because while homework is only worth 5%, the test questions are similar to homework.
Honestly this is the best class I have ever taken. Tests are straight-forward and the class work is doable (homework would be what we don't finish in class but we always finish in class). As a bonus, Mr. Finch is absolutely hilarious. He is also very understanding and flexible. He shows that he cares about everyone and makes an effort to make sure we know the material inside out.
