Pay attention. This class is not like other history classes where you can not do anything and still pass with an A. You have to put in the work to get a result. Be able to write quickly because she speaks super quickly when going through presentations. Be thorough, and do your work. Whether it is reading the textbook or short answers, put in the effort to do well. Participation is key. Even if you don't do amazing on a test, the homework grades will bring it up if you do it. Take the time and do it, it's worth it. We don't always go through all of the material in class before a test. Be warned that the short answers are hard. You need to think and be able to back up every single thing you write. Despite all of this, it was the first time history was fun for me.
Class of 2024
Participate, pay attention, read full sections in the textbook because just looking for answers will lead you to struggle on tests and quizzes.
Class of 2024
