Class of 2022
She is a good teacher. She teaches French very well. The listening comprehensions are difficult but they are not too bad. Mrs. Waterman is a very nice person. She is always happy and in a good mood. The only problem is that she is sexist and very very liberal. In French there is a word that means house wife and she was triggered by this, She did not like this label, and thought a man could be in the house too. It might not seem too bad but the class has a very feminist/liberal environment and in school politics should not be involved. She literally has feminist posters hanging up in her classroom. She favors the girls and or the kids she likes the best by grading their quizzes and tests easier. But for the students she does not really like, she grades their quizzes and tests the hardest she can taking every point possible off. We learn about climate change but only learned the liberal phrases not the republican words. Also just like when you give a response on a test she might take -2 for one student and nothing for another. You can tell throughout the year she is very liberal and dislikes other opinions. Its honestly annoying because at some points the students just do not want to hear her opinions. She gets very passive aggressive at some points I suggest you never ask points back because she is stubborn and will not want to hear it. She can be very argumentative too, if it is clearly a mistake you should say something but if not I recommend keeping quiet to stay on her good side. Good luck with her it is a long two years!
