Very hands on class. Read labs carefully, as they will not always be gone over before starting. Be aware that sometimes things may go wrong as a result. Keep up the lab notebook, as it is a big part of your grade both in freshman exploratory and in biotech.

She is very nice, and has a good sense of humor, be aware that she uses sarcasm, but doesn’t not mean to offend. Like many of the students in biotech, she has a quirky personality, that may take some getting used to. Be aware that even when it seems like she isn’t paying attention, she can still be listening to conversations, and/or realizing you are texting under the desk. She is very aware and has a strong ability to figure people out. You will hear rumors about her, as you will with most teachers, but they are largely false or misrepresented. I have had a great experience with her and can say from personal experience that the rumors I heard while making shop related choices were exaggerated. Most student who have had her like her.
