Pav is an amazing teacher, and don't be afraid to reach out for help! Definitely take notes, and stay on top of work! The vocab quizzes can be tough, so STUDY STUDY STUDY! And take advantage of any extra credit opportunities he gives you (like the cheat-shirt for finals).

Study, study, study. Tests are only announced 2 days in advance, so MEMORIZE EVERYTHING.

The tests are difficult but I've found that going in for extra help once or twice can REALLY help. Make sure to go through the slides and homeworks during the unit for the test, sometimes there will be questions about specific homework readings on the test. The multi-day homeworks take usually over an hour so make sure if you're going to wait till the last day to complete it you have enough time. Overall I had a good experience in the class, one of the more difficult honors classes freshman year.

Mr. Pavlik is generally a great teacher, however can be a strict grader at times. Have fun with this class!
