Contrary to popular belief, Ms. Hall is not actually that strict. People only get in trouble if they really deserve it, and by public school standards she would be considered very chill. Homework is graded out of five on completion, so don't worry about it very much, and perfectionism is useless. Writing quality matters a lot, so don't write your essays late at night right before they are due.

The class is pretty easy as long as you stay on top of your work. There is more homework than the other VII classes, but it's totally manageable. You learn a lot about history, and this class is also where I really learned to write. Mr. Langdon provides a lot of helpful feedback.

7th grade: You will not get to have your study guide during the tests after the first one, so work on your memorization skills. Ms. Shoemaker makes studying really easy and provides all the materials, so you should be fine. Watch out for the spring term! 8th grade: PACE is very fun but can also be very confusing. Ms. Shoemaker has your back.

Well.. he doesn't exactly teach a class, so I don't have a lot of advice on this.
