Be prepared in you take Algebra STEM that there is a lot of homework. At first it can seem overwhelming. It is recommended that through out the course you try to stay on top of the weekly assignments. I am not sure if the teacher is aware of how many hours it actually takes. However, the professor wants to see you succeed. I am an older student so getting the grade is of great importance and the professor's coaching skills are very much appreciated. As the semester progresses you will see that he will extend homework due dates. Listen to the feedback students provide. I would also say that when it comes to exams he spends the majority of his time reviewing practice questions, practice tests, and feedback on questions. You do have to do the work so don't be shocked. However, out of the three match classes I have taken at Bunker Hill this professor is the one that has designed his course so that those students that make an effort that will get the grade.
