Mr Donaldson is a great teacher, and goes in depth a lot. However, this means that there is a lot of memorization required. You would benefit greatly from taking notes, as information that is on the essay questions on tests are usually in his lectures. The multiple choice and matching/who am I's on tests can be worded a bit wierd so watch out for that. Just do the homework, take notes, pay attention, and study and you will be fine. Another thing to note, he is an AE class, but goes at the pace of an Honors class, and sometimes even a bit faster.

Mr. Donaldson is a very understanding individual who is very smart, however his AE class is NOT AE paced, he def teaches like a honors class, and the tests are very hard. Make sure you study as you go and do NOT skim thru the textbook
