You'd better remember how to make essays, or else you're cooked. Also, don't use AI, kids. Mr. Flynn himself is an amazing teacher. He can ramble and get off topic with tangents, but every word he says sounds poetic. He's very wise and you can tell he is above proficient at his job. He is also funny (when he wants to be) and will often find things in his pockets that his daughter randomly put there. If you have him, ask about Stalin being hot. Guaranteed a strange look and/or a small laugh before him dismissing it.

Enjoy the book being assigned to you; hating it will only make your studying and work more tiring and hard.
Class of 2027
Mr. Flynn's lectures may seem tedious at first, but pay attention to them. As long as you listen to the directions and ask questions where you need to, you should be pretty successful in this class.
Class of 2025
Overall, just do your best to pay attention to what he tells you in class. He mostly does lectures (more boring than Early's, he can sometimes ramble, but they're ok), and if you just listen to those, engage as much as possible in the fishbowls (or Socratic seminars or whatever), and keep up with the reading you're assigned, you'll be successful

Though at some points it may feel extremely stressful, but it is all ok in the end. If you are having issues with a grade go and talk to him directly.
Additional Comments
Class of 2025
Mr. Flynn is great. His lectures can sometimes get boring, but he still teaches well, and the fishbowls/Socratic seminars can be really engaging and useful. The books I read in his class were pretty good, and he did really well at getting us through IDRP (or the 7th-grade writing project or whatever it's called at the time of you reading this). Overall, a really good teacher, really friendly and approachable if you need help.
