- Practice, practice, practice! Mr. Boggs is an excellent teacher, but you need to put in the work to contribute to the orchestra's sound. - Enjoy class! If you have fun, you'll be more likely to intentionally practice -> improve

Be ready to do a lot of busywork, and lock in for midterms and finals if she says it's an exam.

make sure to pay attention when shes explaining new topics, because she doesn't go over them a second time, ever. look at the slides she posts to canvas because they are great for studying and she doesn't post a lot of other methods of study

Understand the course material, if you're confused, ask her. Tests are very long, may run out of time, but give bonus questions. Beware of classworks.

APUSH with Ms. Landi was my favorite history class. She's very energized and does a great job drawing connections between events/trends both within the curriculum and to the present day. She isn't a very tough grader on projects, but her tests are kind of difficult. Her lectures are pretty dense on info so make sure you take notes in class, and rewrite your notes later to organize & review the concepts in preparation for the tests. Even if you don't do too great on the tests, there are enough short term projects to bring your grade back up.

She's a strong teacher and is willing to help at your convenience, make sure to ask for help right when you need it, the class moves fast so make sure you stay on top of the information and ask questions.

(Humanities II) The books in this class are GREAT! If you're having trouble getting through all of them, I'd recommend reading along while listening to an audiobook, since hearing the words with the right inflection helps with comprehension. You won't have to take a lot of notes, it's mostly just comprehension of the book with some thematic analysis. If you're bad at the book review tests, you can boost your grade through the projects & poetry stuff.

Literally just pay attention. There's like 5 minutes of actual content per class. Make sure you are comfortable with labs.

In this class (Humanities I), Mr. Sharbaugh will teach you how to write REALLY well in times essays. Don't get mad when he takes points off, he's probably right in doing so. If you just read his comments and practice doing the stuff he says in class, you'll do fine.

Do not slack off early on in quarters, since there are ONLY test grades, every test point will GREATLY affect your grade, every point is essentially 1 percent, do NOT decide to not study for a test because you can "tank it", you will NOT be able to tank it and your gpa will suffer

If you do not already know Calculus when taking Physics C Mechanics, I would strongly encourage studying ahead in that class. Understanding what things are the derivatives and integrals of other things becomes REALLY important later on with impulse, work, power, energy, etc. Mr. Watson is really cool and energetic, just make sure you ask for clarification when you don't get something.

Make sure to actually read the books he assigns, his tests go really in depth into the books and short stories, so you need to be prepared. Annotations really help because sometimes he lets you use the book during the test.
