Be sure to take notes in her class, as note-taking is a key aspect of studying and doing well on quizzes. Additionally, don't worry/waste a redo on one assignment unless you have a very poor grade on that assignment. Mrs. Schwalje puts in more than enough grades so that if you miss one thing you can still get your grade up high.

While many people view Mrs. Schwalje as strict, personally I think she is a fun teacher and makes her learning understandable. So long as you do not act out in her class, you will be fine. Her American history stories are also very interesting.
