Don't noodle, it wastes time. Take the time to practice at home. There isn't anywhere else you can practice. If you goof around, the teacher gets annoyed.

Don't joke around. The teacher is nice and helpful if you just listen to her advice. Also, if you are a bit behind at a stage of the project then come early in the morning. You don't want to scramble towards the finish. She always allows people to come in early in the morning around 7:15.

Ask questions about the concept of getting the big picture of whatever unit you are on. Be careful of projects because sometimes they are the assessment. And don't goof around because the day seems to drag longer and homework will pile up.

Take the time to be creative! Just know that, if you are behind, then ask the teacher if there is a way to access the project at home (since they are mostly digital). The teacher has a thing about bathroom policies so go to the bathroom before class.

Take the time to do the extra credit because ELA is something you can't be accurate (you sometimes will have a couple of things marked off). And also submit towards the end of the quarter because it's better to raise towards the end then to raise in the middle and then drop a bit towards the end. Don't goof around cause the teacher is a bit serious.

If you have questions, ask the teacher before your class dives in deep. The teacher is available during flex, before school, and after school (except for Friday). Take the study guide option if it is available because it has similar questions to the tests. Also, during group projects, be careful. The grade you get is the same for all.
