Don't be on your phone all the time. Participate in his class and be engaging. Respect his time.

Mr. Appel is one of the nicest teachers you will get here. He really cares about his students and cares about learning. As long as you aren't disrespectful or disrespect his time, you will have a grand old time. He loves comic books and Batman. He is was also named Iowa Journalism Teacher of the Year so you know he is the bomb diggity. Mr. Appel you're the best!!!
