Band is easy if you’re in the lower ranked bands, but a lot of effort sometimes. Marching Band actually requires a lot of work, contrary to popular belief. Band can be soul-sucking and anxiety inducing if you’re in the higher ranked bands. Don’t let your grades fall just because of band. Unless you’re VERY serious about music as a career later in life.
