Honors world studies is challanging at times, as is Mr. Sullivan, but usually he is very forgiving and understanding of his student's needs and will accommodate them if they're communicated to him. At one point in the year, a friend of mine had taken her own life and it had taken a toll on my ability to turn in my work on time, seeing as I was too depressed to get out of bed and do my homework. I didn't need to ask for extensions on my work because he paid close enough attention to me to notice what was going on. He pulled me out of class to tell me that I have his support and that he would help me with any work I needed help on. He has no idea how much that meant to me. He can be a bit strange at times, but in my opinion, he's one of the only teachers I've ever had who truly cares about the well-being of his students.
