While the homework is assigned weekly rather than nightly, it is very intentionally chunked out. If you are given a week to work on an assignment, it really is meant to take a week of deep thinking and not a last-ditch scramble. It is probably unlike every English class you have ever taken before, but it is truly transformational.

Mrs. McHugh is the greatest educator with whom I have had the privilege of working. She treats her students as her equals and expects them to put in as much effort as she does. That can be difficult. On the other hand, that also means that she will do her best to answer any question, even clarifying her answers again and again if need be.
