Any student in this class should not expect an A, because the grading is much different than other classes. The tests are pretty easy, but somehow the grade never reflects the hard work. If they are shooting for an A, then they must be prepared to study super super hard. Make sure to do all the homework, as it is enforced to do it often.

Mrs. Gonzalez is a really nice person, but her teaching was not very effective with me. We were often overloaded with worksheets and projects, not actual teaching or note taking. I am very hardworking and studied very hard for all of her tests, but I always got 2's or 3's (rarely any 4's), even if I understood all the material. After a test, I always thought I did well, but then I got marked off for little mistakes, even though on the rubric it would always state that you are able to make mistakes (as long as it is still understandable) and still get a 4. I've taken Spanish for 4 years and aced it every year except for this year because of the insufficient teaching and grading.
