no tests, no quizzes. you’ll often watch a movie or just videos about things that relate to psychology and the brain. they’re mostly done in class along with a guided worksheet. other than that, the only fun things were the drawing activities we did regarding the brain. the final is only a project that you don’t even have to present.

only had it for second semester so i can’t say much. but you’ll definitely receive a bunch of worksheets as packets. they’re not really actual labs but just a bunch of research you have to do for it or it’s guided online. she gives plenty of work and the learning isn’t so efficient. notes and lectures are fine. you’ll mostly be given the guided notes.

if you focus during class and take good notes on the edpuzzles or lessons, you’ll do well. make sure to always have your notes with you. they’ll help a lot during class. regular chemistry is pretty average-paced. some stuff are repetitive but with lots of practice homework you get, you’ll be okay. he is a nice and helpful teacher.

you get mini quizzes every wednesday. there are often lectures and it might be boring but just pay attention and review the general material you’ve learned before the quiz. they’re generally easy and don’t hurt your grade that much. you also get extra credit questions, but if you get it wrong, you lose a point. other than that, he’s very lenient. he gave us open note opportunity during the test 1-2 times. homework isn’t that much either, other than readings, which are rare. you’ll usually get the class time to do your work. just be sure to pay attention to the key ideas that he lists out.

i had her for health and pe combined. for pe, it’s pretty okay. just do your work and don’t make her repeat herself a bunch of times. for the health part, you’ll often do a peardeck where you just follow along with the lecture and then answer questions as a class during lectures as review. you get notes and homework but you definitely get time during class. if you miss a day, just go over the slides. they’re easy to follow along. the tests are simple too.

i had the teacher twice. i took this class for honors spanish 3 after spanish 2. honors will definitely be challenging since you’ll receive a bunch of assignments every day. i’d say maybe about 2 assignments max per day. good thing is, you don’t lose points for late credit if they’re the online assignments, and you have till the end of the unit to complete them. if you get handed papers for homework, you must complete them by the next day, or else you will get no points. be sure to check your assignments. in class, you’ll often have to socialize a lot in order to practice your language. you’ll mostly do partner work, but there are times when it’s group work, like when reviewing before a test. other than that, you’ll receive packets of notes instead of handwriting them, so that’s easier. this class is heavy load for honors but worth it since you get to learn so much more.

for health careers and terminology, you’ll do a bunch of activities in the class, but they’re the best method to learn. there are times where it’ll be partner work or table group work, so choose wisely with who you’ll want to sit with. lectures are enjoyable if you like the subject. its 50% independent work whenever you’re doing your work, but you’re allowed to talk to others. you will get quizzed roughly once every 2 weeks. quizzes are matching and multiple choice, so there’s no writing to do, other than assignments and research papers. overall, the class is simple for a dual credit course.

for the final, you’ll definitely get a multiple choice and some free response. i had this class for algebra 1, so it was pretty easy if you’ve focused on math before. you get practice assignments online too, so be sure to do those before quizzes. you don’t get assignments and homework graded other than the one he gives online, but those are barely worth any points (they’re about 3). you won’t get a chance to retake a quiz or test either. there was only one instance where he gave you the chance to drop your lowest grade. other than that, make sure you ask questions to know the material well. if you’re lost from the beginning, you’ll struggle.

He's a pretty chill teacher, very energetic teacher that is willing to engage with the students; lighting up the mood and make everyone feel included. You mostly do lectures with Mr. Weatherington and take notes but he does it in a fun manner so it's not all that boring. He will sometimes assign articles/readings that you later use for essays or graded discussion (it's important you participate in this discussion because they could lower your grade a lot since he doesn't give out a lot of homework).

as an art class, particularly art foundations, the class is good. you’ll definitely get a bunch of projects and work to do, so make sure to catch up on those. there’s no penalty for turning things in late. the class is fun and chill since you get to do your own thing. he teaches and guides well, step by step, so he sure to listen carefully. you’ll get provided with a bunch of materials too!
