Always write down the formulas, draw diagrams and visual aids on a sheet of paper. You can use it as a reference guide which could aid in a higher test score. It also jogs your memory and can be used as a reference when creating your (allowed) final cheat sheet. ASK QUESTIONS! Don't be scared, someone else is most definitely confused about the same things that you are. I know teachers always say that, but that's because it's true! Even if it is a stupid question, nobody is going to remember it for longer than 2 seconds.

Although she's often unavailable after school, her door is always open from 6:45-7:05am. If she is not in her classroom, you could either wait, find her, or talk to her during class. She's a very sweet and genuine lady who only wants to see her students succeed. Bonus info: If it's evident that you're a hardworking student in her class and are always respectful+kind, you can always go to her for whatever you need. For example, I emailed her about how hard I'd worked to get an A in her class, yet was 1% away from being rounded up to an A. I asked politely for extra credit and she delivered! I finished with an A in her class:)
