Just pay attention to his lectures and study outide of class for each exam. Trust me, you think you'll be fine but you really won't. Besdies tests Astronomy is an extremely easy course (almost boring at times) but Mr. Brown is personable and funny so it's not that bad.
Memorize how to do all the specific example problems since they will likley show up on the exams. He will talk about disney a lot instead of math which means lessons are rushed so you might need to review in the MRC or with others
Although you practice character memorization and etc. in class, ensure that you study a lot outside. Everything you learn is on tests, and the most important thing is studying the characters and doing well on tests. Overall, it's a great class, and Laoshi is the best person to teach it!
The tests are straight up just memorizing the slides and study guide topics. The difficulty of the exams also seemed to change so if you don't do great on one it's not unheard of to do amazing on the next
