Class of 2023
He was the perfect teacher to get at the perfect time! I got him my Junior year, right after we got back to being in person full time. Ellis knew that we all would struggle because we had been online for the past year and went out of his way to teach us extra material that we should’ve learned the previous year. He did everything on paper which for math is definitely the way to go! Ellis was the teacher that motivated me to start trying in school again, I have never been good at math and I didn’t pass his class with an A but honestly if i had anyone else I would have definitely failed Pre-Calc. I’m now in college and im still using his techniques that i learned from him back in highschool. Whenever he retires Lake Zurich is going to lose one of its greatest of all time. he may go down in history as the best math teacher to ever teach at that school he always went above and beyond the call of duty and always put his students first.
