Be prepared for him to talk about unrelated topics for hours at a time and then assign unnecessary amount of work about oddly specific parts of the books you read in class. The questions on the pop quiz are also extremely specific so unless you have studied the book for the last decade chances are you won't know the answer unless using your notes (google).

there's a lot of practice problems in class and it really helps. if you pay attention in class and do the notes/problems you'll probably be fine. it's so much easier than trying to learn the chemistry off the internet later
