I took Advanced Physics with Mr. Torpe during the fall 2019 semester of my senior year. This class is considerably easier than AP Physics, and with Torpe as the teacher, so long as you show up to class and work on the projects assigned you’re pretty much guaranteed to pass. I cannot speak on Mr. Torpe’s AP Physics classes as I never had him when I was taking said course, but AP Physics definitely requires you to do the homework and study in order to be successful. AP Physics is not a class that’s an easy A for most students.

I have had the pleasure of spending time with Mr. Torpe inside the classroom during Advanced Physics, as well as outside the classroom settings with Theatre. There are many things I can say about the time I’ve spent with Mr. Torpe, but the one thing I want to get across is that Mr. Torpe truly cares about his students. Talking with him may seem daunting at times due to his over-the-top personality, but he’ll make sure you not only to try to you the help/support you need, but make you laugh while doing it.
