A lot of the test material is a lot harder and different from what you'll learn in class and do on the homework, so I recommend looking up sophmore/freshman problems on the topic you're doing in class if you want to study for them. There's also not a lot of in-class instruction so you'll have to learn most of the topics on your own from the textbook. Answer keys are provided for the homework so use them.
