Just be a decent human, participate in the fun questions to avoid the hard ones, and listen to what he says. He knows what he’s doing.

Class of 2021

Absolutely love this guy. He was my number 1 role model in high school, and I was always excited for his class. I hated school, but he made it bearable. I was an awful student, but he inspired me to do and be better and honestly is going to be the one teacher that sticks with me into and through adulthood. Last I heard he was retiring a few years after teaching my class, but he has absolutely made his mark and changed so many lives for the better. I originally didn’t like the work he assigned, but after not doing it, I realized it really was only assigned because it was necessary to help learn the material, and instill good habits. I was super shy, but he helped get me to talk some and seemed to actually value what I said when I did speak, and it meant more than words can describe. When I started doing poorly or was in a rough spot, I just remembered his stories and tribulations and encouraging words and I knew I could make it, and exceed my own expectations. If anyone’s feeling daunted in his class, just talk to him and be honest, he’ll understand and try to help the best he can. I hope he gets everything he wants out of life, and more. He’s the type of person I’m excited to tell my grandkids about.
