Class of 2026
Most of the work is classwork and he gives you a lot of time to finish it in class. Some of the work can be tedious, but if most of the class isn't finished by the deadline, he'll 99% of the time extend it. Theater Production 1 is mostly drawing on paper at the beginning rather than a hands on class. You do a SketchUp unit where you made 3D models and then you do end up making a birdhouse and a little model of a scene from a movie of your choice. He doesn't give out tests it's all projects that count as the summatives. If you're really artistic and creative, but you don't want to take a normal art class, I'd definitely say to take this class;. It's way more fun and interactive. You also do a light unit where you get to choreograph lights to a song of your choice.

Class of 2026
He's super chill, but he doesn't like other people coming into the class unless they're former students of his or current students. They usually aren't allowed to stay very long either unless they have permission from their teacher and they're helping him out with something. At the beginning of the year he has you put phones in the tree, but he doesn't usually care if you have your phone out. If you put your head down for good reason he'll excuse you from the assignment too.
