He helps with the hard to answer questions but if the work you are doing is on the easier side, he will let you figure it out yourself, he wont talk down on you for asking for help and gives his class so many creative liberties when it comes to projects, but knows when and how to reel it in, as long as you do your work in class-unless there is a project, you shouldn't have too much homework and I was in his honors class.

He is probably one of if not the best teacher I ever had, good sense of humor yet respectful, makes sure that his students understand what is being read and makes class genuinely interesting, he isn't the strictest about phones, but no one ever uses their phone in class because the lesson and how he teaches it is more interesting and attention grabbing than scrolling on TikTok!
