Make sure you know how to solve proportions as well as various algebraic functions.

He is an amazing teacher. What you put into the class is what you will get out of it. He allows retakes of all quizzes (unless stated before-hand) for full credit and if I remember correctly retakes of tests. He only assigns maybe 1 homework assignment a semester and even then he allows for time in class to complete it. Overall amazing guy and manages to make all classes interesting.
