Expository writing with Ling is pretty much what you’d expect. Tons of writing, as the name suggests, and of course, a lot of reading for the other half, the literature section. Honestly, as long as you actually do your readings, put in a concerted effort, read over her comments, and if needed, ask her for help, there’s no reason why you wouldn’t at least get a B.

Yes, she can be a bit intense at times, but Ms. Ling is a genuinely nice person who cares about her job, and recognizes students when she knows they’re doing their best. She’s also quite funny and is someone you can joke around with.
