Mrs. Baxter is honestly a good teacher. All you have to do is stay on her good side! Don't interrupt class/when she's speaking and always be nice. She will most likely always be nice back. She has a moderate amount of quizzes but if you read the material, they are easy to pass. She requires you to bring your lit book every now and then & if you don't bring it, you get a detention. ( I never got one, thankfully. ) The reason I liked her class so much is that she doesn't read as many books as other classes. She gives homework out rarely and the study guides for the test (about once every 2-3 weeks) are mostly the same. If you just do the work, you are bound to pass her class. She does some projects as well, but they're fun projects that involve being creative or coloring and creating something of your interest. This guy once played a self-made instrumental piece from his cello and it was actually beautiful. Also, don't be on your phone in the class, she doesn't really like that. Overall, an easy teacher. Yes, you will complain throughout the year about it but in the end, you'll realize how easy her class actually was compared to others.
