The grading is pretty strict. The material you go over in class is what's on the quizzes and tests though.
Very difficult if you aren't already good at math. The atmosphere in the class is very poor, while she tries to make it a friendly environment as she says in her beginning-of-the-semester speech, it's not. I suggest getting help from friends who catch onto it more quickly for help. The midterm and finals were easy though, because a studyguide with the exact answer types are given. The quizzes aren't multiple choice or have fill-in-the-blanks., and it makes up a large part of your grade.
