- Always ask her if you need help because she can always simplify complex material for the students to understand - All of the test material is reviewed before the test so pay attention -If anything, Mrs. Rapley loves using application based word problems so know ur stuff - yolo

Above all, do your homework. Ms Swinehart instructs well but for a lot of students, it is hard to keep up if they are not consistent with homework. She is available frequently for extra help and stresses that she is available every morning from 7AM. She rewards those students who ask lots of questions and participate in her class. Don't use your phone in class though. If you pay attention, do your homework, and ask specific questions, you will do well in AP calculus with Teresa Swinehart.

Chemistry itself is not too bad but if the teacher does not teach right, or grade right, you need to use other resources. Use Khan Academy and attend other teachers' study sessions. Google and YouTube are your best friends. Check out the textbook from the media center and read it before the quizzes and tests. Also, every unit, the test replaces your lowest quiz grade. If there is only one quiz for the unit, you can prioritize that quiz last if you have other homework as it is going to get replaced. Whenever you get a test grade, be sure to ask to look at the test. Majority of the time it is graded wrong and you can argue your way to get the points which were rightfully yours,
