Do NOT look away for more than 30 seconds or you will be lost, he moves fast because he's copying the notes off of a piece of paper so he's not pausing to think or do a calculation like you would be. Don't expect him to be able to do a problem that isn't scripted for him because he has the same level of knowledge on the subject he's teaching as you do. He yells when he's angry so just do good in his class despite him not teaching you properly by being God or face his wrath.

Don't be afraid to take chances in your writing, the more you put yourself out there, the higher your grade. Participate!!!! The more you engage in her class the better you do. Use your time wisely during her tests. They're long, and she expects the best, so don't be too worried about a mediocre test score. Go to her for help on diagramming if you struggle! She'll help you out no judging.

Learn to take **interest** in Spanish as a language and as a community of speakers. Pay close attention when the topic is conjugation because that builds a strong foundation to speak like you're fluent. If you're planning to go all the way to AP, train yourself to think in Spanish rather than think in English and translate. This will help you to write on the fly quickly, which will guarantee your success in the class.

Use quizlet periodically instead of waiting til before the test to complete all the activities. It makes her class a lot easier, and you will do better on tests. Students often are the ones to check if you did your workbook pages, so take that as you will.
