Class of 2020

This Class was not challenging at all. It's mostly about getting comfortable with the theatre, learning about the different jobs, getting key terms memorized, working on memorization for lines and other skills, etc. The name really explains it- fundamentals of what you do in higher level drama classes.

Class of 2020

Ruben is the best teacher I had throughout my four years of High School. His classes saved my life and so did his program. I think it should be mandatory for everyone to take his class at least once. He always told me "you don't matter", not to put me down or to make me feel bad about myself, but to understand that in the theatre, you don't have to bring your life from outside into this space. Once I finally understood that, it changed my life. I was part of something so much bigger than myself. I grew and made some of the best friends I'll ever have in my life in that theatre. So if you're wondering if you should take a drama class, or if you should audition for a show, my anwser is to RUN INTO THAT THEATRE AND DO IT ALL. You won't regret it.
