I would recommend that you try your best to pay attention to his lessons. As long as you do that and simply review before tests, it would be very hard for you to do badly.

Great teacher. The class definitely prepares you for high school. If you don't do homework, you will most definitely fail the class immediately. If you dont study for one test, you will pay the consequences. Out of all teachers I had in 8th grade, he was definitely one of the toughest. If you study and do work, you will pass the class with flying colors. The class gets progressively harder throughout the year. Lots and lots of quizzes in the first semester.

Mr. Miller is actually really nice and relatable. He puts his students first even if he has a migraine. Makes sure you pay attention by giving tests and quizzes that most will forget about. Overall he is a good teacher and he really prepares you with useful information and wisdom for high school.
