- Be mentally prepared. The content of the course may be disturbing to some. - You will receive lenience and buffer room if you consistently demonstrate good effort. Don't abuse it, though- and maintain good communication. - Some slightly complex numeracy and calculator-savviness will go a long way in some units (especially 12). If you perform(ed) well in Pre-Alg or Alg 1, you're more than ready. - The study guides alone help greatly (and are required), but you will perform so much better if you take a little bit of time to try out the review quizzes on Schoology, especially in particularly difficult/large units.
