Just do your homework, the class is pretty chill depending on what you have him for. It's hard math classes so obv not gna be a walk in the park but he makes it really easy to pass.

Make sure to take notes (!! ) and ask for help if you don’t understand!! I think the seats are assigned but maybe ask if you can sit in the back of you are uncomfortable with interacting with the teacher a lot. If you do your work and pay attention you’ll be just fine. Easily one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. Good luck!

I had a situation in 9th grade where I was out pretty often because of my health (i’m okay now), and what I really loved about Mr. Holley was that while some of my other teachers made me feel bad about it, he never shamed me. Instead, he just handed me the makeup work and didn’t make a big deal about it. Very much a safe space in my opinion and he had a TON of marvel posters when I was in there, definitely a bonus!!
